Modeling lessons, team planning and teaching, observation and discussion are a few of the methods we use.

Writes curriculum integrated lesson plans.

Conducts teacher in-services that help teachers make valuable and authentic connections in the classroom.

Acts as a resource for teachers, to help them develop activities and lesson plans to fit their teaching style.

Collaborates with Phys. Ed teachers to enhance existing dance units and to find additional ways they can use dance in their curricula.
(Basketball, football, etc. use the same skills as dance: jumps, spatial placement, body awareness, flexibility, executing patterns of movement, teamwork, etc.)

Consults with teachers to demystify and address how they can fulfill the State Fine Arts Goals in their classrooms.

Conducts Family Dance nights where parents and children share the joy of dance by learning new dances or working together to create their own dances.
